Pan Am/Delta Pilot John Lovell
is Top Gun at Subway Sandwich

Plantation, Florida:
Last week police were called to investigate an
attempted armed robbery: The 71-year-old
retired Marine who opened fire on two robbers
at a Plantation, Florida, Subway shop late
Wednesday, killing one and critically wounding
the other, is described as John Lovell, a former
helicopter pilot for two presidents. He doesn’t
drink, he doesn’t smoke, and he works out every
day. Mr. Lovell was a man of action Wednesday
night.
According to Plantation police, two masked
gunmen came into the Subway at
1949 N. Pine Rd. just after 11 p.m. There was a
lone diner, Mr. Lovell, who was finishing his meal.
After robbing the cashier, the two men attempted
to shove Mr. Lovell into a bathroom and rob him
as well. They got his money, but then Mr. Lovell
pulled his handgun and opened fire. He shot one
of the thieves in the head and chest and the other
in the head.
When police arrived, they found one of the men
in the shop, K-9 Units found the other in the
bushes of a nearby business. They also found
cash strewn around the front of the sandwich
shop according to Detective Robert Rettig of
the Plantation Police Department.
Both men were taken to the Broward General
Medical Center, where one, Donicio Arrindell,
22, of North Lauderdale died. The other,
21-year-old Frederick Gadson of Fort Lauderdale
is in critical but stable condition.
Mr. Lovell was a pilot in the Marine Corps,
flying former Presidents John F. Kennedy and
Lyndon B. Johnson. He later worked as a pilot
for Pan Am and Delta Airlines.
He is not expected to be charged authorities said.
”He was in fear for his life,” Detective Rettig said,
“These criminals ought to realize that most men
in their 70′s have military backgrounds and
aren’t intimidated by idiots.”
Something tells me this old Marine wasn’t ‘in fear
for his life’, even though his life was definitely at
risk. The only thing he could be charged with is
participating in an unfair fight. One 71-year
young Marine against two punks. Two head shots
and one center body mass shot.
Outstanding shooting! That’ll teach them not
to get between a Marine and his meal.
Florida law allows eligible citizens to carry a
concealed weapon.
Don’t you just love a story with a happy ending?

Obama Won’t Send Official U.S. Envoy to Margaret Thatcher’s Funeral (But Did to Tyrant Hugo Chavez’s)

In an amazing snub, Barack Obama, who sent an official delegation from his administration to Venezuela for tyrannical socialist dictator, Hugo Chavez’s funeral, won’t send one to Great Britain’s Margaret Thatcher’s.
This is shocking, but I guess it shouldn’t be (although it still is!). One of Marxist Obama’s first shamefully embarrassing, classless acts as president was to return a bust of the great British leader, Winston Churchill, a gift from Britain to the U.S. which was displayed in the White House. It was such a disgusting act that the Obama propaganda machine originally lied about it, calling the story “100% false.” Finally, they had to admit it was true, but like all decisions made by “Dear Leader” Obama, it was largely ignored by the mainstream media. It should have been a strong warning to Americans about Obama’s ideology.
As with all things Obama, his words are a contrary indicator of what he actually does. His official statement about the passing of Baroness Thatcher, included saying, “
With the passing of Baroness Margaret Thatcher, the world has lost one of the great champions of freedom and liberty, and America has lost a true friend.”
Fair enough. All true. When I heard that portion of his statement, I was shocked that he would describe the former Prime Minister in such glowing terms, considering he stands diametrically opposed to everything she stood for. But that wasn’t all, Obama even dug deeper, saying he and Michelle were continuing her legacy:
“Michelle and I send our thoughts to the Thatcher family and all the British people as we carry on the work to which she dedicated her life.”
You would think both he and Michelle are huge fans of Lady Margaret Thatcher, wouldn’t you? His words certainly indicate that he is. But, as we’ve learned, his words are meaningless. Watch his actions. His actions are that he is not sending a U.S. delegation to Margaret Thatcher’s funeral, the first female Prime Minister of American ally, Great Britain, and a great one at that. So why would he send one to Hugo Chavez’s funeral?

The truth is that there is no difference in Obama’s political ideology from Chavez’s. None. Chavez hated America and everything it stood for, yet “our president” gladly and proudly sends representatives from his regime to attend the madman’s funeral. Margaret Thatcher loved America, loved free markets, loved individual liberty, and was instrumental in joining with Ronald Reagan in bringing down the evil communists in the Soviet Union. No wonder he’s snubbing her.

Not sure how many of you watch the Amazing Race I normally don’t. My wife was watching the other night and I happened to walk by and noticed the episode was filmed in Viet Nam so I watched for a minute. You might have already heard about this on Fox News but if you haven’t it takes place in Hanoi at the site of a B-52 that was shot down. The participants of the Race were made to memorize a propaganda song about Communism and etc. I believe it was disgusting and certainly disrespectful to our Country and our Veterans. Below is my comments to CBS. If you agree with me please pass this on to all your family and friends, if not please let me know why. It also wouldn’t hurt if you sent a note to CBS as well.
I cannot believe how un-American CBS is…regardless of political views our Country, our Citizens and our Veterans deserve better. Your recent episode of the Amazing Race was the most outrages thing I have ever seen. We receive more respect from Russia and China than you give – and that is disgusting! After losing over 50,000 dead and thousands more wounded and disabled, you have crossed the line of decency. You do not deserve to have anyone watch your network. I am going to encourage every family member, friend and acquaintance not to watch your network. I will also encourage everyone to BOYCOTT any major company that might advertise on your network. I will no longer watch CBS.

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn’t like the Obama’s? Specifically I was asked: “I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama’s? It seems personal, not policy related. You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture.”
The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I’ve made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don’t like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.
I don’t hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America. They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama’s raw contempt for white America is transpicuous.
I don’t like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress. I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people. The Reagan’s made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Obama’s arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable. Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?
Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama’s have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility.
I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to now being able to be proud of America. I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world. Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same.
I have a saying, that “the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide.” No president in history has spent millions of dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.
And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother’s death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father’s military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nausea. He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address. He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today. He opposed rulings that protected women and children that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to I srael. His wife treats being the First Lady as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement – as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.
I don’t like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.
Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin; it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their constantly playing the race card.
It is my intention to do all within my ability to ensure their reign is one term. I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them, as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are. There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people, as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.
As I wrote in a syndicated column titled, “Nero In The White House” – “Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader. He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequalled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood… Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation, and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement – while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.”

Democrats convened in Charlotte, NC, will double down on their claim that Bain Capital is really the Bain crime family. They will accuse Republican nominee Mitt Romney and Bain’s other “greedy” co-founders of stealing their winnings, evading taxes and lighting cigars with $100 bills on their yachts.
But Bain’s private-equity executives have enriched dozens of organizations and millions of individuals in the Democratic base — including some who scream most loudly for President Obama’s re-election.
Government-worker pension funds are the chief beneficiaries of Bain’s economic stewardship. New York-based Preqin uses public documents, news accounts and Freedom of Information requests to track private-equity holdings. Since 2000, Preqin reports, the following funds have entrusted some $1.56 billion to Bain:
* Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund ($2.2 million)
* Indiana Public Retirement System ($39.3 million)
* Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System ($177.1 million)
* The Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System ($19.5 million)
* Maryland State Retirement and Pension System ($117.5 million)
* Public Employees’ Retirement System of Nevada ($20.3 million)
* State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio ($767.3 million)
* Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System ($231.5 million)
* Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island ($25 million)
* San Diego County Employees Retirement Association ($23.5 million)
* Teacher Retirement System of Texas ($122.5 million)
* Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System ($15 million)
These funds aggregate the savings of millions of unionized teachers, social workers, public-health personnel and first responders. Many would be startled to learn that their nest eggs are incubated by the company that Romney launched and the financiers he hired.
Leading universities have also profited from Bain’s expertise. According to Infrastructure Investor, Bain Capital Ventures Fund I (launched in 2001) managed wealth for “endowments and foundations such as Columbia, Princeton and Yale universities.”
According to BuyOuts magazine and S&P Capital IQ, Bain’s other college clients have included Cornell, Emory, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Notre Dame and the University of Pittsburgh. Preqin reports that the following schools have placed at least $424.6 million with Bain Capital between 1998 and 2008:
* Purdue University ($15.9 million)
* University of California ($225.7 million)
* University of Michigan ($130 million)
* University of Virginia ($20 million)
* University of Washington ($33 million)
Major, center-left foundations and cultural establishments also have seen their prospects brighten, thanks to Bain Capital. According to the aforementioned sources, such Bain clients have included the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Doris Duke Foundation, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Ford Foundation, the Heinz Endowments and the Oprah Winfrey Foundation.
Why on Earth would government-union leaders, university presidents and foundation chiefs let Bain oversee their precious assets?
“The scrutiny generated by a heated election year matters less than the performance the portfolio generates to the fund,” California State Teachers’ Retirement System spokesman Ricardo Duran said in the Aug. 12 Boston Globe. CalSTRS has pumped some $1.25 billion into Bain.
Since 1988, Duran says, private-equity companies like Bain have outperformed every other asset class to which CalSTRS has allocated the cash of its 856,360 largely unionized members.
Is Bain really a gang of corporate buccaneers who plunder their ill-gotten gains by outsourcing, euthanizing feeble portfolio companies and giving cancer to the spouses of those whom they fired? If so, union bosses, government retirees, liberal foundations and elite universities thrive on the wages of Bain’s economic Darwinism.
If, however, these institutions relish the yields that Bain Capital generates by supporting start-ups and rescuing distressed companies, 80 percent of which have prospered, then this money is honest — and Team Obama isn’t.
